Inauguration of New IKA SMAN 1 Ciruas Board Marked by Mass Circumcision Program

SERANG – The inauguration of the new board of the Alumni Family Association (IKA) of SMAN 1 Ciruas for the 2026–2029 period will take on a different tone. Alongside the official inauguration ceremony, the alumni organization will also hold a free mass circumcision program for 100 children on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The Chairperson of IKA SMAN 1 Ciruas, Erwindo, said the social program was chosen as the first initiative of the new management in order to ensure that the alumni organization can immediately provide benefits to the community.

“The event will be held together with the inauguration of the chairperson and the board of the Alumni Family Association of SMAN 1 Ciruas. It will be combined with a social activity, a mass circumcision program for 100 participants, with 50 participants from alumni families and 50 from the surrounding community, especially those living near the school,” he said.

According to Erwindo, the activity also serves as a message that the alumni association is not merely a gathering forum for former students.

“This shows that we are not just an alumni association, but an organization that is beneficial and contributes to the school, to alumni families, and also to the surrounding community,” he stated.

Each circumcision participant will receive various assistance, including a bicycle, pocket money, a sarong, a bag, and school supplies.

“For each participant in the mass circumcision program, we provide one bicycle per child, along with a sarong, pocket money, a school bag, and school supplies,” Erwindo explained.

The Head of the Committee, Iwan Suryadi, added that the activity also serves as a channel for donations from benefactors who wish to share blessings with the community.

“We are also distributing assistance from donors as a form of ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah),” he said.

Looking ahead, Erwindo hopes that IKA SMAN 1 Ciruas will continue to serve as a strong platform that maintains alumni solidarity while contributing to both the alma mater and the wider community.

“In the future, we hope to remain a large family forum that provides benefits, and contributes to all members, alumni, the alma mater, and the school,” he concluded.
